Canadian manufacturers, supply chain, gearing up for distribution of future COVID-19 vaccine
Canadian companies are preparing for the logistical challenge of distributing successful COVID-19 vaccine candidates across the country. Appliance companies are seeing increased demand for freezers capable of storing materials as cold as -80 degrees C, an expected requirement for some of the vaccines in late-stage trials. Additionally, shipping and transport services are beginning to prepare for the task of moving millions of doses to all parts of the country while meeting strict temperature control requirements and other delivery needs.
