Drugmaker Eli Lilly stays confident in possible COVID-19 treatment after setback
The United States government has suspended a study of an antibody drug made by Eli Lilly, claiming evidence does not show it improves outcomes in hospitalized COVID-19 patients. The manufacturer is still continuing to explore the efficacy of the drug in patients with mild to moderate disease in order to prevent hospitalization and severe illness.
